1. Scope

These general terms and conditions of sale govern sales of vintage, antique and second-hand tableware, table décor accessories, and personalization services offered by KFH La Maison.

They apply to orders placed online, remotely, in-person and at the showroom, except for specific terms agreed in writing.

2. Items offered

Items offered are mostly second-hand pieces sourced in their original state. They may show signs of use, irregularities, color variation, minor defects, or traces linked to their history.

Significant imperfections are noted in the description or shown in photos. The customer can request additional information or photos before purchasing.

3. Price

Prices are expressed in euros. For online sales, the applicable price is the one shown at the time of order.

Shipping fees are indicated or confirmed before order finalization. For made-to-order requests, pricing is set based on pieces, quantities, logistic constraints and requested services.

4. Order

Pieces shown in the e-shop can be ordered directly. The online stock is a selection and does not represent the full stock available in the showroom.

For distance orders outside the e-commerce flow, the selection, delivery method and payment terms are validated with the client via email, phone, video call or written exchange.

5. Payment

Orders must be paid in advance. Payment can be made by card, secure payment link, bank transfer, or cash for purchases made at the showroom.

For distance orders, dispatch is prepared after order confirmation and receipt of payment or payment proof when required.

6. Shipping and collection

Orders may be collected at the showroom by appointment or shipped under agreed conditions. KFH La Maison may use Mondial Relay, Colissimo, Cocolis, or another logistics solution adapted to the order volume.

Delivery times are indicative. For Mondial Relay shipments, the usual timeline is 3 to 5 business days after pickup by the carrier.

Parcels are prepared with care, using protective materials and reusable packaging whenever possible.

7. Receipt and transit damage

The customer is invited to inspect the parcel and items upon receipt. In case of damage or breakage, it is recommended to photograph the outside of the package, interior packing and the affected items.

Any issue should be reported quickly to KFH La Maison, ideally within 72 hours after receipt, to facilitate coordination with the carrier. This recommendation does not forfeit the customer’s legal rights.

8. Right of withdrawal

For non-personalized distance purchases, the consumer has 14 days from order receipt to notify withdrawal.

After notification of withdrawal, the customer has 14 days to return the items. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Returned items must be complete, properly protected, and in a condition suitable for resale. Refunds are issued after receipt and inspection of returned items.

Personalized items produced to customer specifications or clearly customized are neither taken back nor refunded, except where legal guarantees apply.

9. Personalization

Personalization is done on antique or second-hand pieces purchased from KFH La Maison. Personalization is possible from a minimum of 12 pieces unless otherwise agreed.

Before launch, a proof and approval file can be sent to the customer. Approval of this proof constitutes authorization to proceed with personalization.

Personalization includes additional firing. This handcrafted process may lead to unpredictable results on some antique pieces, such as minor defects, glaze alterations, or cracks. If a significant defect related to this step occurs, KFH La Maison will propose an appropriate remedy (replacement or credit), depending on stock availability.

10. Legal guarantees

The consumer customer benefits from applicable legal guarantees, including legal warranty of conformity and hidden defects, under the conditions provided by law.

Given the old and second-hand nature of the items, signs of use, irregularities and obvious defects disclosed to the customer before purchase do not alone constitute nonconformity.

11. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint should be sent to KFH La Maison, attention Katy Hay, by email at contact@kfhlamaison.fr or by phone at 07 71 07 07 83.

If a consumer dispute is not resolved after prior complaint, the customer may use a free consumer mediator. The mediator must be a listed body; its details will be added as soon as it is appointed.

12. Personal data

Personal data submitted during communications, requests, orders or sign-ups are used to process inquiries, execute orders, provide customer support and meet legal obligations.

Data is kept for a maximum of two years, except where longer retention is required by law. The customer may request deletion by email at contact@kfhlamaison.fr.
